Bioethanol fireplaces can be installed anywhere in your home without the need for a chimney, they offer all the benefits of a traditional fire without the cost of installation or the environmental impact of burning wood or gas.
Bioethanol fireplaces will heat an average-sized living room by around 3 to 5 degrees. This is approximately 2-3kw or equivalent to an electric heater on a medium setting.
You can also adjust the flame size on most models which will change the heat output.
Designed to be used in homes with no flue or chimney, bioethanol fireplaces burn only specially produced bioethanol fuel. This means the heat produced remains inside the room, instead of escaping through the chimney.
Simply put, yes. Our Bioethanol fireplaces are designed to ensure the heat is expelled outward rather than upward.
For safety, it is recommended that a 10" gap is left between the tip of the flame and the base of the TV, however, most of our bioethanol fireplaces include this in their design.
Bioethanol fireplaces also do not produce smoke so there is no issue with visibility.
Our bioethanol fireplaces feature a stainless-steel fuel box with a shutter that can reduce the flame size and be closed to shut off the flame. Always use the supplied tools to do this as the fuel box will be very hot.
Biofuels are liquid fuels produced from plant materials, the production of Bioethanol is simple and has a minimal environmental impact. Our BioFireplaces produce about the same CO2 emissions as lighting a candle, but a lot more heat, allowing you to enjoy the cosy atmosphere of a real fire without the environmental impact of burning wood or gas.
Bioethanol is a renewable energy source made by fermenting the sugar and starch components of plant by-products. These by-products primarily include sugarcane and crops such as millet, corn, and wheat crops.
Bioethanol fuel production is fairly simple and has a minimal environmental impact. Once fermented, the ethanol can be burned to produce a flame and heat, making it one of the quickest and hassle-free ways of installing a real flame fireplace in the home.
